The beach is about 150 metres long with the same pale-white pebble surface, bounded at each end by low cliffs covered in pine and olive. A narrow coastal path links the two beaches in roughly five minutes on foot. Because most boat tours stop at Žanjic rather than Mirište, the beach sees noticeably fewer visitors even in peak August. The water deepens gradually and stays clear; sea surface temperature here tracks closely with the outer Adriatic rather than the inner bay, running around 25°C in July and August and 21 to 22°C in June and September.
