Lazure Beach & Bar

Lazure occupies the small harbour at Meljine, east of Herceg Novi Old Town, where a sandy strip fronts the waterline and a beach bar runs off the back. The setting is sheltered: the inlet cuts the swell almost entirely, so the water stays flat and warm for most of the season. Sand at the shoreline is unusual on this coast and the reason the spot draws families in preference to the pebble beaches further east toward Topla.

The bar serves drinks and light plates directly onto the beach, with loungers and umbrellas available through the season. Behind the bar, the Lazure Hotel occupies the restored 18th-century Austro-Hungarian naval hospital that gives the complex its name. Guests have direct beach access through the garden.
