Херцег-Нови Island

Sveti Nikola island sits roughly one kilometre offshore from Herceg Novi, visible from Slovenska and Mogren beaches. Water taxis run from the Slovenska Beach promenade every 30 minutes or so in summer, taking about ten minutes each way (€3 to €5 return). The island has three pebble beaches, a seasonal restaurant and walking trails through low pine and Mediterranean scrub. It is uninhabited and has no overnight accommodation.
