150-Metre Pebble Beach on Luštica Peninsula

Mirište Beach is the smaller sibling of Žanjic, occupying the next cove southwest along the Lustica shoreline. The beach is about 150 metres long with the same pale-white pebble surface, bounded at each end by low cliffs covered in pine and olive. A narrow coastal path links the two beaches in roughly five minutes on foot. Because most boat tours stop at Žanjic rather than Mirište, the beach sees noticeably fewer visitors even in peak August.

The water deepens gradually and stays clear; sea surface temperature here tracks closely with the outer Adriatic rather than the inner bay, running around 25°C in July and August and 21 to 22°C in June and September. A single seasonal beach restaurant operates at the back of the pebble through summer, with grilled fish, salads and cold drinks. Lounger hire is limited to around 30 sets. Demand outstrips supply on peak weekends.

Most regular visitors bring their own shade and towels. Mirište is reached the same way as Žanjic: by water taxi or tour boat from the Herceg Novi marina, or by a rough road from Radovanići that ends at a small car park above the cove. The Dobreč cove sits a further 10 minutes along the coastal path southwest, accessible on foot from Mirište or by boat directly.
